DUO2SE v4 RSOD even on originals.
If i disable chip it works.

    This is what happends.
It goes to browser , it tries to load the disc then it says NO DATA for 1 sec before RSOD.

Ive rechecked and resolder A,B,I points 2-3 times.
I also tried exchange the chip, same issue.

Ive also checked for "dead solderpoint"

Do any1 have ANY idea whats happening?

I gave up on this machine for first time in my life.
Just returned it and said "NOT SUITABLE FOR MODDING"

I tried alternative DVD points and measure every connection to other spots on mb with multimeter. The install was good.

I think it was a laser issue.

When i removed chip, i found out even originals had problems to read.
    End of story

    Thanks for reply guys.

This problem was with a DUO2SE, and when i exchange it with a H20 (same wiring) i got PLAYSTATION2 logo, then RSOD.

I was like WTF is this. Then i attached the H wire (thought im in PAL land) and everything works.

Im pretty sure it aint the chip, since the v4 had same behaviour.
Since my DUO2SE didnt have H wire on digram i didnt try attach it there.

So in this case H20 get 1 goal, DUO2SE get 0 goals.
Very annoying since i used lot of hours.

And btw, the DUO2SE DID read PS2 games on CD, but not on DVD.

But now everything works so i dont complain.
