DUO 3 and PAL games?

Hey all,
I need some info, i was just wondering if the DUO 3 will run PAL games on a NTSC V4/gap, all that i get is greyscale/rolling horizontal lines, and fuzzy on the video, the audio is alright.
I just need to know, so that i can say it's either the chip or my install, as this is my first install of DUO 3 chip... I hope someone can help me. Is it possible that i need to do a video fix of some sort?

You can't play PAL games. Duo 3 does not have PAL to NTSC conversion feature.

DUO3 has NO extra features what-so-ever, it's STRICTLY for backups and homebrew.

Yup Duo 3's Functions are basically booting backups ps2&ps1 games of whatever region ps2 you have. They only way however to play PAL games on these systems is to hope and prayto the ps2 gods that the game has a 60hz selector at the beginning of the game which alot seem to be coming out with. Or you can do a PAL to NTSC fix but that works maybe 10% of time.Or if you have Swap Magic Discs you could use the forced NTSC off those. Not a good chip to have if you need advanced features.

I have very little sucess with those PAL to NTSC patches. It's a waste of dvds if you ask me.

ntsc > pal fixes work for me all most of the time if not all the time... dont know where u r getting the 10% out of

What exactly are you using? Ive gotten maybe one to work. I would like to see if I can do this to my PAL ver of Driver Parallel lines cause it always freezes in the begining on forced NTSC

well any of the color fixes v3-v10 have worked for me
mine is a pal ps2 v7 messiah chip have it for years
and newer v 9 with duo se boh have color fixes applied
as i always apply to color fixes to all of my installs when using a no frills chip
havent had 1 problem yet.....
sorry if this is a ntsc only prob but pal machine running ntsc games i have no problem at all

Thats it im talking about PAL to NTSC thats probably why yours work cause u use the NTSC to PAL
