Duo 3 Gold in v12 issue

Hey guys,

I first installed an M7 Pro into this v12 in front of me... still have a bunch in stock. Put the summone on too, though I went with a 620 ohm resistor on the 303's instead of the usual 560.

Anyway, the console boots originals fine, but takes forever to load copies. If it does load, the intro's are all choppy.

Removed the M7 and went with a clean install using a Duo 3 Gold... no change, originals boot primo, while I get funny laser movement on copies, and intermittent boot success.

Any thoughts?

I would assume the summ0ne fix is to blame. I have had more then a few console sent in for laser issues from other modders and by simply removing the summ0ne fix the laser issues went away. The summ0ne fix puts a lot of strain on the laser and makes it work harder. Installing a PIC based fix like the Comsoft V4 or neo XIV is a much better choice then the summ0ne fix any day.

No kidding!?!? That would be the first time the summone has caused me grief.

Is there a canadian source for the consoft solution?

Try removing the summ0ne fix and see if that helps maybe?

I had the exact same problem.

I removed the summone fix, installed comsoft v4 and everything was 100%

summ0ne's fix limits the laser's ability to read.
