ok i installed a duo2 se on a v7 when i went to test unit i hit reset the dvd drawer came out at a very fast speed then unit will go into stand by red light will stay on then turn green when i hit reset.i hit reset again drawer will try to open again even tho its out all the way i removed chip and desoldered all contacts and same thing any ideas thanks in advance
i tried the dvd drive in another unit and it works fine i went over every contact and i do not see any thing wrong any ideas what to look for
used to happen to me all the time.
its the bios points, go over them.
I've never had this happen quite like you describe... would have been neat to see a pic of the install. Check the bios points as mentioned for bridges.
i went over bios a few times with deslodering braid and still the same problem getting ready to give up and sell for parts soon
