Drive not spinning with media inserted
Drive not spinning with media inserted –

Hi all,
PS2 NTSC/US V4 GAP // No modchip installed (NEVER)
My PS2 did not open so I change the BA5815FM and now it works but ...
NO media inserted, the drive is spinning
WITH media inserted, the drive is spinning a quater of a turn.
Looks like, the drive is not enought strong to turn
I check the connectivity between the console and the laser unit OK.
I swap with another laser unit, same problem.
So the problem is on the motherboard
It looks like the BA6664FM is controlling the disc spin.
I try to get the documentation from rohm but only get it in japanese
If somebody has the same problem. I can measure everything.
I've got scope, multimeter, etc...
Where can I order a BA6664FM??
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

As I told, a running spare drive was put into the machine and same behaviour
Also, heat pad are always installed
Regarding the rohm doc on the BA6664, I checked every connection between the laser assembly and the drive: OK
Does anybody has that problem earlier ??
Any fix ??
Still working on it.
Where can I find a replacement BA6664
