Well, I know lighting (good lighting) is done to xboxs... I've done a nice light/paint job to my XBOX v1.4 w/ xenium I installed. Well, I was wondering if I could put 3-4 (or just 2-3) 5mm, 6000MCD LEDs near the bottom front from the ps2, where the air filter thing is. I was thinking I could wire them through the positive and negative PSU wires... would this work? also, can a LED be added for when the PS2 is in standby so like, when the PS2 is in standby, one light... on the back or something will be blue, but when its on the light is red ? (or vice versa)....
thanks for any help given.

there have been a few case mod threads if you do a search.. mostly people use cathode lights and stuff..
as for the standby, you may want to try messing with the reset led for ideas..

Ive never done it before but yes its 100% possible to add another led to standby mode. Where were you thinking off adding the led ? i would place it near the rear by the fan. Just a matter of finding the voltage.. youll need a low voltage led 3 volt or so.

i got 20 blue 8000MCD LEDs coming in and 2 white LEDs coming in (putting secondary power/eject light on my xbox, main is blue, when eject is pressed it blinks blue/white) and doing the rest of the lighting to my xbox when they come in.
