DOH! No TV output

Hi all, had a go at chipping my PS2 last night (smartchip), took my time and tried to do a propper job. Put it all back together and the consiole powers on and all light flash but there is not output to the TV. Have I fried the PS2 (hope not its a christmas prezzie) or is it just a dodgy install?

is the screen just black or is there actually no output at all.

If its the latter its what happened to mine after an install which was actually working. and still did it with the chip removed.

No output at all, at one point there was a dark green screen but that was only once. Was you PS2 knackered then?

Got myself some nice thin wire and re done the whole lot, still the same, Once a dark screen rest of the time nothing output. Im starting to panic a bit now :-(

Did it work when you took the mod out prior to re-doing it?

The Troubleshooting Guide to which I'm referring is in the Messiah2 Install Guide - applicable in most cases to most modchips.

Charlie, I stupidly didnt try it without the mod! I founf the FAQ and will go and check the BIOS.

Just took the mod out and its still workd (thank god). What am I doing wrong?

Stupid questiopn but there are 2 ground points on the chip, one with the 3.3v and another on the side, do I need to ground both?
