Does Magic 2 hang on Kingdom Heart?

After reading several post on this forum, we can conclude the Magic Chip 3 has a freezing problem with kingdom heart. ' It will freeze after 1 or 2 passes of the intro sequence using standard boot method (from STANDBY tap reset button).'

Does anyone know if the Magic Chip 2 has the same problem, specifically the chip for ntsc version 7 playstation 2? Can anyone with the chip and a copy of kingdom heart test this? Thanks.

so does the magic2 have any probems besides the ehating prob if you play like 5+ hours i na row but i never play that any1 have any info thxs

How about other games like gta vice city? Has anyone experience any game hangs with the Magic Chip 2?

yes, i am thinking about unsoldering my magic3 and replacing it with a cheap magic2....they are basically the same (?) and it shouldnt be too hard, because it has the same solder points, right?

Yah...i'm happy with my magic 2...more happy than the few magic 3's i've put in for people. Me and my brother played through kingdoms hearts straight never freezing..I havent tried vice city but I'm pretty sure theres no problems.

As for magic2/3...basically the same solder points...theres like one extra wire i think and its not hard.

my magic 2 v7 works 100% for dvdr backups of both games without freezing. It works great. I love it.
