I have a crystal to install on a v10 whose laser doesnt work, I´m going to put in a HDD but since the lens doesnt work can I save the trouble of soldering wires B,G,I... etc? Or does the chip need these points connected to operate even though the lens operations are unnecessary?

Because the laser points are the hardest to install and I know if I tried to solder them it wouldn't be of use.
