Do I have a bad Duo3GT? Please Help
Do I have a bad Duo3GT? Please Help –

Ok I installed a Duo 3 GT.... Now sometimes it works and sometimes not. It's a really weird problem. I installed the led light as well and here is how it acts.
When i turn it on, the light turns on and after the clouds, the screen stays black... but sometimes it will load the game.
Sometimes after the screen stays black, and the light is on, and i reset it the light turns off and never comes on unless I turn off the ps2 and wait about a mintue even then sometimes it loads the game and sometimes it won't.
I thought about loose connections so i have opened and made sure the connections are solid like 3 times.
It seems like the chips is having problems knowing when to engage and when not to engage. Its 3AM and it's driving me nuts. Do I just have a bad chip or a bad install? I tested the points to be solid 3 times and they are all good.
The originals play just fine.
what do you guys think is the problem?

n19htmare,whell have to see a picture of your install to fully help( just throw it in a scanner or take a pic with a digital camera) ,but what you can try is removing the entire chip then reinstall it taking your time.
Ps if you dont think your installation is "pretty" just redo it slowly as "ugly installs" allways have bad results.
