One could use ICS (or a better program) to act as a router between the PS2 and the internet, instead of using an actual router. You just need a hub or spare Ethernet card. By doing this, you could monitor the packets going to and from the PS2. The way I see it, you plan on capturing the exact data transferred and try to "emulate" it by rerouting the execute command to a falsely resolved IP via a Hosts/Lmhosts file and sending it via the PC to the server, but hasn't this already been tried?
no, thats not what my idea is, and sorry, but I cannot post exactly what it is I'm trying to do, and the reason I cant run these tests myself is because I don't have any originals with dnas protection on them.
Well, if you cannot share your theory with the others members of the forum, I don't think you will find many people willing to help you.
