Anyone that has a copied PS2 online game has recently run into the DNAS error message. Well me and some fellow COSC students in MD are trying figure out a patch to create to allow you to play backups online. This would seem possible since the DNAS error message is a recent occurence and nothing has changed but the games. We believe it is centered around the DNAS270.IMG file and the Online folder that is on each online game. If anyone else comes up with a way around this message, post a message and let everyone know.
i've heard that people have bypassed the dnas check, but they are saying they can't tell no one because it would be illegal! you belive that? i too would like to know how, so if anyone figures it out but don't want to post it, then pm us, please
If that's true, then I doubt they have done it with patches, because files have a way of being packaged and released.
