I'm having a problem with the metal sheilding i think on my v10. All tests fine with the LED panel until i put it back together but FilterX never replies to my problems!!

For the 80 dollars and shipping i spent on the chip i could have saved myself the frustration and had someone install a matrix infinity for me.

First off, welcome to the forums you two.

All things aside about the DMS team. We warned people about these clip kits ages ago. Their supposed "solderless" invention was infact not invented by them at all, a company called neoasic invented the first clip kits for existing ps2 modchips.

Not to put anything away from neoasic but its the general design itself that is flawed. Lots of people had complaints about the clips wreaking all sorts of havok on their consoles even after their installation worked for days, weeks and even months. Issues from simple black screens because the clips would move inside of the ps2, short circuits because they moved to Worst case was the pressure forced down on the bios would break its legs making the ps2 unrepairable by even a seasoned installer. You can expect the same out of the EZI line of chips and the problems are already showing up in droves on their forums and beggining to trickle into ps2-scene.

Kinda sad really, they are fooling customers all over again and where are they to respond to these issues?
