Hi, I have a DMS4 Ezi modchip installed on my V7 PS2, but the PS2 has been a little faulty recently, not reading games sometimes.

I was just wondering if I was to puchase another PS2 and carefully remove the chip and put it in the new PS2, would this work?

Would you reccommend it? Has anybody tried it before?

    Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks

Yes you can remove the chip and install it in a new PS2.

But before you do that, give this guide a shot. It could help you fix your PS2, and save some $$.

    I suggest you get a solder-base chip.
