i have a pal v10 silver ps2 and i will be installing a v9/v10 dms3 in the next few days. What precautions should i take to ensure my ps2 doesnt end up suffering from this v9/v10 syndrome.

well just check all your connections with a ohm meter for solder bridges.. wrap your clock wire with a ground
use a alternate 3.3v and a short ground
think i used fuse p14 for 3.3v but i cant remember now..
just do a search..

i think its more v9`s and the percent is so small..
what is v9/v10 syndrome?
wheres the best place to position the chip on the motherboard
