I saw someone asking this question but can't find it now the question is when adding the video stablizer chip with the Dms3 does it in anyway causes a functioning problem with the chip or added stress on the ps2 unit. Basically anything negative.
thanks,

video stabilisers –

John, I have two ps2s w/video stabilisers. ps2v9 dms3v9 setup to an HDTV and home theatre 5.1 w/Monster enhanced ps2 component AV ($59.99 circuitcity) and a ps2v7 dms3v2 flash 1.8 hook to standard TV with standard ps2 composite RCA av. I have used multi Tap controllers, guncon 2, force feedback driving wheel by logitech, ps2reality, ARMAX, All games, movies, music, cd-r's dvd-r's all display like original and look fine on both TV's absoluely flawless. I have no ps2 IR remote to test for compatability. I am very pleased. I only had 1 small problem. The ps2v7w/dms3v2 froze with armax and was solved by booting upgrade flash 1.8. It now loads all codes for all games like the ps2v9wdms3v9. No noticeable change from performance before and after modification. The ps2v9w/dms3v9 appears to be snappier, quieter and has the ability to read damaged and/or worn disk that my 2 other ps2v7w/dms3v2 and ps2v7w/magic 3.1 can't boot or fully play.
John, FYI I purchased dmsv2, dmsv9 from foundmy.com and received 2 video stabilisers as free gift. Loy made the modifications to both ps2's.

My house is already too full of teens and preteens. My daughter also uses DPR2 controller by Naki industries for DDR games. This is also with dmsv2/v9 with video stabilisers.
