hey guys i have got a v9 with a dms3+ on it , its been working fine for about 4 monthes but now it wouldnt load any dvd , not even original games , it just shows that golden disk saying its a ps2 game but wouldnt load it , i have tried to remove the modchip and i get the same !! i have tried replacing the laser lens and i get the same . i know the chip is working i can run cd-r and load apps from memory card !! i'm in the dark here please help .

I know you said you changed the laser, but it still sounds like it might be a laser issue.

but i have tried it more then once with a laser i know for sure is good . i allso noticed that once in every 30 resets or so it boots the dvd game just fine so i dont think its the laser

Make sure you do the romeo mod if you have not already.
Chips can be defective, and show problems down the road. I've seen my share of strange behavior with electronics (that were fixed by replacing the faulty IC), although it is rare.
