DMS3+ with v9 PAL PS2 Help Please

Hi all,

hmm well this is my situation, everything is wired up, all 19 wires. When I power the ps2 up I can't access the dms3+ config menu, play a backup game (tried with simpsons hit and run. burn't it to a -r,+r and a +r bit set to dvd-rom as i got it with the ps2). It plays the original hit and run, plays ps1 games, play music on a cdr and plays a region 2 and region 0 dvd. It does play region 1 dvds and before it would just say it couldn't, so that function of the chip seems to be working. I've had the multi meter out and checked all the soldering points and all of them are showing a reading. I am really baffled with this so if you have any ideas I would appreciate them. I used the diagrams from from the dms3+ website which u have listed in sticky for this part of the forum.

no dms3 config menu equals no power/ground/c wire probs/or d-n wire probs

I'm lost really since i can't find a dodgy solder point and re-tested with the multi meter. One thing though, does it matter that I have 2 ground points? point "B" and the motherboard

I forgot to mention that it plays ps1 backups, so does that still leave the same possibilities as the first reply i got??

try flashing chip with latest firmware ,there is some dms+ going about with bad firmware flash
