Kudos to the DMS team for finally relasing their mod with PS1 stealth built-in.
DC2 KiD discovered this while testing a DMS3 V9 installation. He booted one of our test discs, a CDR of Spyro 3 unpatched and it booted and it plays for a long time without going to red screen!!
dont believe spryro red screened ?
thought it just stole your eggs when it detected the machine was modified and the fairy came up telling you so its quite l8 on in the game also you can never finish it because you loose eggs all the time.

Spyro 3 U/C NTSC does red screen on playing in a modified console.

I have 3 version of Spyro 3. The Original, an unpatched back-up and a patched back-up. On my V7 NTSC PS2 before the PS1 stealth add-on when I would boot the original with the chip on I would get the red screen, with the chip off I could boot the original. With the chip on and booting the unpatched back-up I would get the red screen. With the patched back-up it would do as you descried EnTiTy with the fairy and loosing eggs. What?s kind of a trip is that the DMS3 team didn?t even announce this. Guess they didn?t feel they had to or wasnt a big deal. It must have been a cool feeling when DC2 Kid found this out.Quote:

well the good thing about this is that the maker (cloner of origa bros code) of the ps1 stealth mode addon chip (that precisionmod.com sells, they are not the maker, just the seller) should now drop his price down to like $5-10 at the most now for one of those things. if its still $35.00 that is nuts!

Was this add in put in the V 1 - 7 chips? And if not is there a flash upgrade that will allow this?
