been reading but cant find any reviews on dms3 v2?
does it now have abilty to boot all rips 100%
I ask because most of my games are rips and yes i know rips will wear laser out quicker.
I like the features of dms3 over the messiah(ie memory card prog, and macrovision) but if it still has booting reliabilty like the magic then ill stick with messiah.

I have the "old" DMS in a V6 PAL and I haven't had a rip (I have about 40) that doesn't work yet.

I have a DMS3 on a V5 and out of about 300 CDr's there are 2 which it currently refuses to play. Both these CD's play fine on a Messiah / Magic but will not work in any way on the DMS3.

The strange thing with one of them is that it will start booting the game and then sits on a black screen after the Playstation logo has appeared. Reminds me a bit of the old EA protection problems on Neo chips.

It hasn't bothered me too much, because i have just got DVDr copies of the games now.

I would mention the names of the rips, but not sure if that is breaching the rules of this board.

If you want to know, PM me, will be more than happy to let you know.

A nice simple review iNSaNe_TRaDeR, What's good is that you've test about 300 CDR titles. I'm interested in the games that didn't boot. What were they?. I'll E-you.
