I have already upgraded my DMS chip and I have not ran into any problems as of yet.

Flashed, working with no probs on my V7 USA PS2. Good stuff, can't wait to test the Video format conversion :)
Can anybody told us more about ATAD auto-patch? Tested? Working fine? It only works for games with HDD abilited, right?
And also, any list about these games (with hdd on) ?
Dont have an extra HDD just yet but...the only US games so far to support it are SOCOM 2 and RE Outbreak and FF11 which requires the HDD and Playonline app. to work. Future ones are the next Syphon Filter and I believe Gran Turismo 4. A few Japanese imports...Winning Eleven 7, King of Colosseum Green and Red, All Star Pro Wrestling 2, Xenosaga, Final Fantasy X International, Final Fantasy X-2 International, that newer Starocean game...there's more, this is just sort of off the top of my head.
ATAD patching will only work for games which use the HDD, yeah.
it only works for games with the HDD, because what it is doing is making the ps2 game accept any hard drive, rather than just the official sony one.Quote:

i don't know what abilited means :P
How about the automatic DVD mode selection and the macrovision off (both removed in 1.8) . Is this enabled again?

Just tested it and.... no for the dvd mode:-( so no need for this upgrade
is this update works correctly?
How could i burn it on a cd-r?
