Dms3 V2 Booting Problem
Dms3 V2 Booting Problem –

It will boot and go to the browser window and show the mem card and the disk that is in the drive, original or a copy it doesn't matter, you hit X and it will start but, after a few seconds the disk will stop and the browser window will flash and the red screen will show up and say insert a PS or PS2 disk. Now if I put the chip to sleep by holding the eject button and put a ORIGINAL disk in it will boot up and play as if nothing has changed?
What is the deal?

Are you saying neither originals or backups work at all? If you disable the chip, then originals work? Sounds like a wiring problem if that's the case.

US V7 dms3 v2 only boots orig dvd when in sleep mode
US V7 dms3 v2 only boots orig dvd when in sleep mode –

Hi all,
I have modded my PS2 (v7 US) w/ DMS3 v2 six months ago, and it had worked fine as expected. However, now it won't boot anything at all, always goes to the browser screen, and then the RSOD.
If I put the chip in sleep mode (holding reject for 2 secs), then I can boot the original dvd game ok.
It looks like now I am having the same problem as becel. Any idea? Desparately needing your help!!! Thanks!!!
