    Hello,

I've checked forums and found no answers. I'm using a version 5-6 playstion. I'm having problems with PIN "P". When I solder it down... my playstation does not boot. All the other pins are soldered down. I can boot PS1 games and regular PS2 games. The minute I solder down pin "P" the playstation doesn't boot. I've check all my BIOS chip pins and I've made sure that the pins werent' bridged.... any suggestions?

    thanx

P is a DVD Controller point. Check to see if the point is grounding. That is the only thing that comes to my mind.
The Yellow PS2 auto-boots all. PS2, PS1 stealth and DVD movies.
