The only Modchips i know as of this moment working on the 18000 are clones. The Messiah XS and the NH2 Chip. Messiah XS works very well on 18000, NH2 has poor bootrates and cannot boot DVD9. go buy 1 from www.ps2modchip.com as the call it the "Official Messiah 2 "
I doubt all the new chips from now on are going to support 18000. It is a poor model. I regret buying it myself, I now already have a new ps2 v5 pre-modded.

what do u use for dvd multiregion? (or u simply use some other dvd player?)

there's this custom modchip that functions like magic 3.1 that might work.
u from singapore?
go to gamersquare forums or hardwarezone forums and contact don/sonic respectively(same person, diff username in diff forum)

he successfully modded a 18000 with that modchip before

they should ship to all countries. Best luck with Messiah2 Clone. If a new chip comes out u shd be able to uninstall it. A chip dosent weight much, so it should be able to be sent to all countries
