DMS3 firmware identification

Ok, ive bought a DMS3 V2, installed it and it is working fine.
BUT how do i know if the chip has the latest 1.6c firmware programmed?

can't really tell if fast boot works u have 1.6 if not u have 1.3

if you bought it from a distributor then you most likely have to update the bios (you dont HAVE to but you should).

Anyways, put like a DVD-R Backup in, hold start on the controller and tap reset while holding start, if the normal ps2 boot screen comes up, you have the normal firmware everyone gets, if you have a black screen for like 10-20 seconds then the game starts (no ps2 intro) then you have the newest firmware I guess.
