Having installed hundreds of mods (going as far back as Neo 4), things have gotten strange today.
We have a new batch of PS2 consoles which immediately looked different upon delivery (Blue writing on box, different packaging materials inside box etc).
Upon opening the console there seems to have been some very minor changes (I'll upload a picture shortly).
The model numbers are SCPH 39003 and the bios has a gap in it
Anyways, as stated above, we have done many installs with very little problems.
Installed a DMS 3 into 1 unit and tested, console powered up then screen went black, thats it, zilch.
Pressed Reset, nothing, tray opens & closes, but nothing happens.
Therefore put the DMS 3 into sleep mode (by holding eject button from standby), come's on again.
Arrrh, bad chip, changed DMS 3, same again.
Opened another new PS2 console and installed into this one, same again.
So installed Messiah 2 Pro into both (leaving all relevant wires intact only adjusting the Reset point and adding clik connection), all working fine?
Whats going on then? Any idea's
It isn't our soldering work as proven above, 2 new (but identical strange new machines) same install as used on DMS 3.
