hello all!i have just fitted a dms chip in my son's v9 ps2,everything works fine(ps1bak-ups,dvd etc)except for ps2 bak-ups!i have checked and double checked the wiring and all seems ok,is it the wires p-w that control the ps2 side?also would it help if loaded the latest version flash on the dms?i have soldered p-w to the vias underneath the board,is there an alt dia. for directly to the chip?any help greatly appreciated!an keep up the good work for what looks like a great forum!

Well if its not booting then 99.99% of the time its not wired correctly. It only takes one to be wrong to not work.

Use a thicker shield wire for your "CLK" point.
