Difference between MatrixInf & MatrixInf homebrew

I recently ordered a Matrix Infinity(old version), problem is how do I know if it's the Homebrew version or the old version?

I installed the modchip but receives red screen everytime I boot up originals and backups.

the infinitys taht ship out now are all homebrew. Just flash with the upgrade to have a reuglar infinity. to reflash boot up in recovery mode

I just want to confirm if there's any differences in physical appreance because the website I bought the chip from still have stock of the old Matrix Infinity. So it could be my inexperience soldering skills that prevent the chip from booting games.
