Did I kill my PS2 ? –
08-16-2003,08:46 AM
I installed a DMS3 into my v7 and it was working but I went back in to redo the whole install because it was acting wierd. I did have 28 and 30 guage wire but I switched it all to 30 now.
Now, when I turn my ps2 on I sometimes get the blue eject light, but I sometimes don't and I get no audio/video and I can't eject at all.
What is the problem???
just found out, w/ power and ground disconnected i get ejecting but NO audio/videop still

you should've asked me to install your DM3 chip! Installing the DMS3 is very hard- Anyway, Did you install DMS explorer from a CD-R to you PS2 memeory card, That little program helps alot-- it did for me.

Sounds like a short has occured...
or the ribbon cable has been pinched.
Your power and ground shoulf be bigger than 30 anyway - should be 24 AWG at least.
