Did I damage the SCEx line?

Ok, that last 3 PS2s I did (mine, a friend, and someone online who didnt care about PS1 games anyway), I go in PSX mode and it looks like its going to boot and then goes to the browser then RSOD's. Did I burn the point that I am supposed to solder it to, and if so, how do I repair it because I can't play DVD Movies like this either

if u cant play dvd movies either i would check the eject/reset wire (depending on the mod)

it is a DUO chip, its new, and its only 17 wires and works great for PS2 backups, but its like magic3.1 with booting from browser, but so far, I have gotten no RSODs
