Dead Messiah 2??!?!

Alright, here's my problem... had a V7 ps2 installed with Messiah 2, ran perfectly fine, played harry potter (CD) for a bit and the laser kept trying to focus and i blew a fuse (PS11)(Would that kill the messiah?). Didn't know that at first so i just baught a new ps2. Tried installing the Messiah 2, but no video (no video as in no RESPONSE what-so-ever from the TV). Took the chip out, 2nd ps2 stopped working. Tried to solve the problem for a good 10 hours.. got fed up, went and baught a 3rd ps2. Installed the chip into that one, NO VIDEO... (TV screen is blue initially when i hit the AV button, and just stays blue when ps2 is turned on(not black)). Now here's my question, Is my messiah 2 PRO dead??? How am i supposed to check that? And would it help to do that little PCB cut track thingy? (oh and btw, my mod-chip has been installed properly NO doubt about it. no solder bridges or any c**p like that. Someone please come to my rescue.

try and change the chip.
careful about the 3.4v wire if it gets bridged then it may be causing this problem. You should check the chip itself for bridges etc.

Well, i solved the problem. there was a solder bridge on the Actel chip. Q and T were shorted. So here's some info if you're getting power to the ps2, every looks like it's working fine, but you get no response what-so-ever from the television, Q and T could be shorted.
