    I read somewhere on these forums you can have the Summ0ne fix or SubZero fix installed and still have your DVD diode die. Is this diode on the motherboard or dvd drive? Can it simply be replaced or do you have to replace the laser? The post said it was a PVR type Laser. How do I tell if mine is PVR? Does this only happen on "PVR" lasers? Man.. after all this reading I was set on Summ0ne's fix and now this

    Summone fix is good if you use both resistors one for focus one for Tracking evertyhnig is ok only the RS2004 FS (driver IC for disk spining motor) will be in risk ...
    But PWR is not only lens which is burning I already have to KHM430 lenses burnt ..
