CrystalChip vs Infinity
CrystalChip vs Infinity –
If we put CC and INF head-to-head and filter out the common features, what's the strength of each chip?
- DNAS Patching
- Direct Audio disc boot to PS2 Browser
- X-fix in addition to Y-fix
- PSX Multi-disc support
- DEV2 HDD mode
What else am I missing?
(I've dugg this from readme files and various websites)
in any case i would wait for the next versions of the cc as obviously the 1.0 version is not sold any more (and the stores are running out of stock anyways at the moment, at least here).
lets see whether they do more regular updates then and what the new features are before any recommendation, because at the moment the infrequent sw updates and the bad communication with the user community is a big disadvantage of the cc in this comparison, at least imho ;-)
i dont say im discontent with my cc or it doesnt work. in fact it works good for me, but i still miss some kind of customer care there.
The x-fix? What's that?

I guess it's for horizontal screen positioning. It's in the readme.
