Crystal V1.1 will not read update disk

I just got a crystal in my ps2 V9 and it wornt read updata disk.. i tjeked the solder and its fine.. the chip starts fine like the website says.. i tryed writing 5 disks and it stilll wornt read the disk so it can only read music disks..

Does it read original games ? Did you do the romeo mod ?

i got it hehe.. 3 wires was not in there spot
