Okay, here is the firmware v0.02, able to run backups and all (needs to be tested).

I created this files for n00bs and/or lazing users, players, etc.

Moderators/Admins: If you found this out "illegal" feel free to deleted it.

crytal_002.zip image created with Sonic RecordNow.
crytal_002a.zip image created with Alcohol 120%.

If you want to upgrade via ps2link/naplink, just rename SYSTEM.CNF to SYSTEM1.CNF and SYSTEM2.CNF to SYSTEM.CNF and burn this disc again.

Burn at 2x max !!! Better if 1x. This way you don't need to put any DUMMY file on it.

    Notes on upgrading:

While upgrading, your screen will first show white, then blue. After 30 seconds or so(be patient), it will turn green or red. Green means that it was successful, red means that it failed. We have yet to encounter a failure but it's possible that it could happen sometime, somewhere to someone. If this happens, simply reset your PS2 and let the upgrade disc boot again.

    Backups!? Wow!!

Thanks a lot gradius. Now maybe i'll order some Crystal chips instead of the Infinities..

Does this firmware support the v12? Who made it exactly? You? How was backup support added in?

Yes, it does support v12 (v1 to v12). The source code is on CC team website, just need to change two lines on source code in order to load backups (thanks for Ikari for that).

Needs to be tested, I'll order my CC chip soon now.

Too sad, you'll need to do Romeo fix again on v12.

Kewl, I'm gonna test one of these from foundmy to see what it's like soon. I'll see if it's better than the Matrix Infinity.

The problem isn't the 5V, is the IC (new LA/LB combined) pinage.
