Crystal Chip 2.0 or DMS4 Pro SE? v9 PS2

I'm deciding how to mod my PS2, I'm going to go to norcalmods, but I was wondering if I should buy the DMS4 separately and have them install it, or buy the CC + Install directly from them.

Which chip is better in overall features?

I'm going to have about $150 to spend on the product and shipping.

CC 2.0 is better supported. DMS4 SE Pro is basically a dead chip. No new updates. The dev moved on to something new and left their customers to dry.

I second what T07N says though I'd also add that norcalmods is a great supplier and installer.
