  1. #1 Couple of questions on Mod Chips. (DMS3 v9)

Im looking to purchase the DMS3 v9 for my PS2. I was doing a search all over the net for good prices on this mod chip and the avg price i came up with was around 50 bucks.

I came across kanection that has the chip for $36.59. Cheap as hell compared to everyone else.

I was wondering if anyone purchased from them before and if there stock is the real deal and not cloned chips as we all know there are many clones out there, and when a deal sounds too good be to true, it usually is. So anyone know OF them or about them?

My second question was, in order to play on the internet via the network adapter and an internet connection, am i able to play online with the DMS3 v9 chip? I've seen many of the sites that had the other chips list that the chips may be turned off etc, so i was wondering if the DMS3 v9 has this feature as well since i did not see it listed.

Thirdly, are there any pro installers in the NYC area? Any recommendations are welcomed.

When Buying a modchip, you always get what you pay for. If it seems cheap be skeptical. Sometimes it is just better to spend the extra money. Gives you more peice of mind.

Price wise, thats actually 36.59 British Pounds which is nearly $70 USD.....not really a good deal. Stick with the $50 choice, as thats probably one of the lowest prices you'll find right now.

The price you saw at Kanection is in british pounds, which comes around at 50 dollars. Its pretty much the standard price for a dms v9. Dont know personally Kanection's reputation but Ive hard its good, and also I believe they accept credit cards without using paypal. Hope it helps.
    At my signal...unleash hell

lookitsloy is super. He did my ps2v7 and ps2v9 with video stabilisers. He had to remove a magic3.1, adjust laser and repair eject/reset ribbon on my v-7. Both work like new.
