Consolesource.com - Wrong Hardware Shipped

So I'm going to rant now, and throw a little heads up to anyone after a MI Green Dot. I just bought a v14 slim, and thanks to all you good folks i know I need a Green Dot if i expect it to work. So I headed on over to the Matrix team site, and it referred me to the local Canadian reseller--Consolesource.com.

Their Matrix Infinity only said it was good to v12, so i knew it wasnt a green dot, but i figured that could be wrong since they were a direct reseller and should have the latest stuff. So i emailed their 'live' support (which isnt really live), and their support guy wrote:

ConsoleSource.com only has the Green Dot Matrix Infinity in stock now. Once the Orange Dot ran out of stock, Team Matrix supplied Green Dot. Green Dot are the only ones in stock now.

And what do i now have in my possession after ordering on friday, why its a lovely ORANGE DOT. gg Consolesource. So I have to wait for my 'live' ticket to be answered, and i'm really hoping they dont expect me to bite the shipping cost and return it for an exchange. At worst i should get sent a new one at no cost and return this one on their dollar. At best I should get some kind of discount for the hassle.

End Rant.

PS. thanks for all the great posts on here, migrating from the xbox-scene was pretty easy. I'm a PS2 noob.

hey man.. i can vouch for these guys.. the prices were high but i found them to be the best customer service ive ever had!! they emailed me because they thought that my postal code was incorrect.. ($instead of 4) they emailed me to repost and unlike sum stores didn't ship like that then charge shipping again for the wronge address.. they are good people.. im sure u will get everything sorted out!!

we were the canadian reseller for the MI team for a long long time, but since we got stuck wtih BLUE DOT, then ORANGE DOT came out becuase of issues with a batch of BLUE DOT (even thou our BLUE DOT were fine) we had a hard time moving them and too a lose on them, then GREEN DOT came out, so we haven't ordered any GREEN DOT (so we were removed from the list), we are still wiating on proper pricing and on top of that.

but at the same time NETMECH has them MI GREEN DOT here for only $31.00
