Compnet Hookup

I recentlly hooked up some monster cable componet cables for my PS2. The picture is great but there is one problem. On the left side of the screen there is a vertical line of black. Almost like the entire picture is shifted right. Anyone else have this problem or know if there is a fix for it? Thanks Guys!

My cousin have that cable but we never saw any problems, make sure that the three video cables going to the back of your tv, are like is supposed to do. (sorry I can't tell you the exact way, I'm not there)
