complete newb...just a few questions about hdd & dms4

ok...ive done alot of reading...and im picking up a dms4 lite. & hdd
just not too sure how the hdd is going to work (the stuff ive read is alittle vague). i want to find out now so if i need to buy certain programs i can do it all together.

ive read somewhere that you have to load a program on the ps2 to copy the backups off the cd to the hdd. is this true?
if so what program? and is this the best way?

also ive read that you need hdd loader and swap disks to run backups from the hdd. but im assuming that the dms4 bypasses this. am i correct?

if you wanted to do that you should have gotten the Pro. The ToxicOS includes an HDLoader

true...but cant you load it on the chip by yourself?
aside from the larger flash on the pro...they are pretty much the same.

i'm not sure if you can put it on the chip but you can use the memory card exploit and load with Dev Mode.

if u have a lite and u want to use a hdd, u can use dev mode 1 to load a hdl of your mem card

or you can just burn the hdl/hda cd
