I have a PS2 with 2 commponents burned off the board.
One is a 10k resistor the other is unmarked.
The unmarked "chip" is brown/tan in colour with silver ends.
I feel it may be a de-coupling capacitor but don't know for sure and can only guess to its value if it is.
Would anyone with schematics be willing and able to look up the value?
If so I'll get more info location, picture, etc. posted .
Thanks in advance for any help.

Post a picture of the position of the component.

The commonents are the resistor (with the "A" tag pointing to it) and the brown/tan chip below it, in series.
The resistor came off because the "A" wire would not solder to it after too many atemps. It must have had contamination or something, who knows? The next component came off after a hurried shot at repair, just sloppiness on my part, one lives and learns Thanks again for your help.
