i was reading this post
http://ps2newz.net/forums/showthread...threadid=19513
about using alternative bios points on a version 9. Is there any problems with wire length? is it comman to use these points? Do you need to use thicker wire when you make the wires longer? Also does anyone have any pictures of an install using these points on a v7-v9? I would like to see how people are routing the bios wires to the bottom of the board. I guess what i need to know is it it going to hurnt anything and why doesnt everyone do this it looks easier? It seems to good to be true

i did my v7 this way. i used 30awg wire for the bios points. the difference in the length of wire is negligible. you can put the wires thru any hole on the mobo thats not a screwhole. (screwholes have gold outlines and are larger than the other types of holes.
