    I have a problem with my boot up. If I want to play burned games
    It won't work. Only when I shake my ps2 then the game will boot
    Somebody told me that I have to cleane my lens. I have cleaned my lens still the same. If I play orginale games it the same problem will appear.

    If got a messiah chip.
    And I'm sick of shaking my ps2 what can I do???

    well first of all you shouldnt have started shaking it to begin with. second, old older ps2s theres a cog wheel that sometimes needs adjusted(techtv.com/xplay has a guide) and shaking it the first time you had a disc read error probably didnt help if it was due to the lens being dirty in the first place.


    wtf would you pick up a device that uses a precision laser guided by gears and pulleys and begin shaking it anyway? turning it upside down like the psx needed sometimes makes sense(mine needed that during the fmv's in ff7), but shaking it is probably one of the WORST things you could possibly do aside from drop it or light it on fire

    how did you clean the lens? i prefer using a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

    Maybe a wire is loose. Shaking is sometimes symptomatic of the wire ends touching under compression from the metal case - they may have been stripped too long.
