Choosing a chip question
Choosing a chip question –

A friend of a friend came over from the UK and soon discovered his PS2 won't work on US televisions. He then gave it away - and I ended up with it
Now, I found a power adaptor, but would like to mod it so I can play US games, and backups as well. I don't really care about any really advanced chip features, just want it to do those 2 things. What chip would be easy to install (the only soldering I've ever done was a mod on an Atari2600), cheap, and work in a UK system? It's Model SCPH-50004.
Thanks!

Just get the Duo 2 SE chip if all you need to do is to play backups.
