Ok i have a vers 4 (gta vers) ps2 i bought a messiah from a guy who chips ps2's last week. was excited so i strarted on the job with all the info from charlie_ps2's post, got my enamled copper wire got my glue and other bits and bobs. i have tried and tried to make it work but still no go, i either have no picture or it boots the ps2 (not games) but with the sound all choppy and hissy. ive taken the chip off and it works ok, so my ps2 isnt knackered i just dont understand what is wrong by all the info ive seen it should work but doesnt . can anybody shine some light on this for me or should i just get me self another ps2 and send it to charlie_ps2. how much does it cost to get it done by charlie_ps2?
Phew thats it
Thanx for taking the time to read this im well frustrated

If you take it slowly and test the PS2 in two stages before finalisation it should work fine.
First stage is to boot PS1 backup with RESET, SCEx, 3.3v & Ground attached;
Second stage is to add wires A thorugh I and boot PS2 backup with AR2.
If that works, attach the BIOS wires and it should be no swap.
