i have a ver. 7 ps2.... don't know how to solder but found my friends dad who soldered his ps1 mod for his son and he said he would do it for us again.

anyway i am debating between... magic 3.1 and messiah 2

i'm leaning towards the magic 3.1 what do you guys think... is there a review yet of the magic 3.1

    1. PS2 modding is a whole different ballgame from PS1 modding, so make sure he's capable of doing a professional install on a much harder console to modify. Don't let him fry your mainboard, you have to use a lower temp iron than on the ps1.
    2. Magic brand is unreliable, you will find most of the experts on this forum go for the Messiah 2 because the code is much more stable. Magic 3.1 has not been reviewed yet, but we have verified that the frozen games such as Kingdom Hearts now boot fine. But its still not as good as Messiah 2 if you have a v7, in my opinion.

I'm buying a Messiah 2 for my new v7 i'm getting real soon, I suggest u do the same, spend the extra cash you won't regret it down the line
