Can anyone tell me the best place to put the Magic2 or Apple chip?
On China-magic site, they recommend taping the chip onto the metal casing. On some sites, they placed it on the motherboard near the GND soldering site (as shown on apple chip installation).

Is one better than the other?

It appears the modchips are getting fairly hot. Is it better to put it on the casing to avoid the heat from the motherboard? Is there more interference at one site than other?

    Thanks

just a side note, they aren't taped to the casing, they have some double sided tape on the bottom.

Charlie often says that excess pressure on the chip can cause it to malfunction, like if a metal plate is pushing against it
