    how do you axx devmode 2 with MI?? acorrding to MI main page only has Bootmanager devmode and old school devmode.
    LAUNCHING MEMORY CARD APPLICATIONS:
    - Press TRIANGLE on joypad 1.
    - If installed, the Infinity Manager will appear and show a list of installed applications.
    -or-
    - Press R1 on joypad 1.
    - If installed, the default boot application (mc0:BOOT/BOOT.ELF) will be launched.

    E.G. to use PS2OS directly from the HDD :

    Rename the file PS2OS.ELF as BOOT.ELF and burn a cd with the following
    files :

    DUMMY.BIN
    DUMMY2.BIN
    SYSTEM.CNF
    DEV2I.ELF
    BOOT.ELF

    After the installation is complete you can launch PS2OS directly from
    your HDD by holding L1 just after reset (or select DEV2 as the default
    boot mode in the config screen).

    The Dev2 install stuff was posted in their news section when firmware v1.5 came out in May 28, 2005 . This info has also been in every firmware upgrade readme since then The readme's have lots of info that are often over looked.

    That was an example that is used in the DEV2 readme. Just, whatever elf you want to be used as the DEV2 elf, rename it to BOOT.ELF

    You can launch ULE and boot from the HDD. Hopefully BM 2.0 will have this feature to but we wont know until its out I guess.
