Hi, first sorry for this another post.

The alt point of 3,5 v and gnd in a v7 ilustrated in the charlies manual is in backdoor of motherboard? in the explain of pal/ntsc color fix i see another alternative point; the three points ilustrated in the v7 manual are valid in a pal ps2? thanks and sorry for english

My advice is NOT to use the alternative point. It is ahown for the benefit of Magic 2 converts whose wires are set for location of the chip outside the metal cage. So a closer 3.5 v point has been found.

Best to stick with non-alternatives and to loctae Messiah where shown int he PDF.

if you search the forum you will find a thread where i describe the correct procedure for fixing these type of problem its a very technichal job and needs a pro to do it the chip pacage the ceramin needs shaving down to uncover the broken pin then either kynar or enammel wire to reconnect it to the board if the board point stil exists or the next alternate further doen the track.

Do me a favour and post the URL. I'll split out the thread and put it in the FAQ section
