pleas post picture...
allways hope to fix it !
Under the summer i have dune some very stranage fixes..
might help you out.
What solder iror did you use ?
is the fold soldered?
if not just carefully bend it baxk using the blade of a craft knife
if they are soldered very gently heat them up and with a craft knife bend them back into shape, then if there is still solder there heat them up and use a desolder pump to remove the rest of the solder
take time and be very gentle (as you now know they are very delicate!)
I would always use the alternative points and the V12s are easy alternatives
good luck,
Danny
Ya, I hate controller legs. I always go for the via if possible. If I could buy some 32awg wire, the legs wouldn't be as bad but with 30awg I find its a tight fit and I've toasted a few boards doing the legs.
thanks for the advice buys will try that, i think i'll be avoiding those legs from now on to!!
will try the craft knife trick but need to be in the right frame of mind if u know what i mean!!!
